Tom brings over 25 years’ experience in the patent profession and is a PhD and Chartered Chemist. He is qualified as a Chartered and European Patent Attorney and a Chartered Trade Mark Attorney, as well as having rights of audience at the UPC.

Entering the profession in 1992, Tom trained and qualified with two private practices in London. Following some time working in industry, Tom became an equity partner in private practice at the turn of the millennium and built a substantial following which transitioned with him when he started his own firm in 2015, and laid the foundations for BMF to evolve in 2020.

Tom’s practice focuses primarily on Chemical, Mechanical, Materials, Green Technology, and Trade Marks.
